Our capabilities also permit us to carry out international voyages for the transport of petroleum products.

SHAUKAT MARINE SERVICES meets all IMO regulations for the services that we are permitted to perform, including the double hull requirements for vessels and the application of the International Safety Management code (ISM), the Tanker Management and Self Assessment code and the International Ship & Port Facility Security Code.

Shaukat Marine Services has been involved in various maritime operations and collaborations, particularly with the Chinese Navy and COSCO (China Ocean Shipping Company) vessels in the period from 2016 to 2021. Our activities likely included providing bunkering services, port management, and logistical support to enhance naval and commercial maritime operations.

Under Mr Mirza’s dynamic leadership, we have not only solidified our reputation in the market but have also expanded our horizons by serving prominent clients. Over the years, we have successfully delivered fuel to approximately seven foreign naval ships and completed a last fuel delivery for the Sri Lankan Navy in 2021.

Shaukat Marine Services played a pivotal role during the time of COVID-19 when the whole nation and countries were affected by the de-bunkering of MV Heng Tong 77, which was stuck along the coastline of Karachi in July 2021. Our expertise in marine operations and logistics, combined with the urgent nature of the situation, was crucial in managing the complexities of the debunkering process. This operation not only involved the safe removal of fuel from the stranded vessel but also aimed to
prevent potential environmental hazards and ensure the safety of navigation along the coast. Our team’s quick response and professionalism helped mitigate risks and contributed to the overall success of the operation.
